Every now and then he goes to the main room of the Mansion and just looks at the people, even though there's no real reason. He likes to look at God's children.
Michael, presumably, has Helen living with him now, partly to keep her safe and guard over her, and partly from another feeling he doesn't understand, one that goes with his human body and stirs in his human heart.
To-day he's working at his leather in his usual quiet way, and thinking of her, and of her child.

Michael is hard at work. To-day he isn't cutting leather; he's sewing patterns into it with coloured thread and a thick needle. His eyes are quite empty.

*Michael is praying*
*He's sitting in his room like always, stitching up the last part of a pair of soft leather shoes, the kind that are slippers for the dead*
- Mood:busy
*Michael is sitting quietly in his room with a piece of soft leather and a needle, but he isn't sewing. He's just been in this thread, and he's experiencing one of his first human emotions. The ones he's been capable of all along, but not know how to use. Actually, he still doesn't know what it is. He defined 'sad' for Gavin, but he's repeating what Simon told him. Right now what he's feeling is sad, in a faraway kind of way, and he doesn't know what it is at all*
- Mood:
confused
*Michael is sitting in his room, probably the one given to him by Hestia, and making shoes. He's cutting out the leather patterns, but in a little while he'll be stitching. As a human and not an Angel, it's all he knows how to do*
*Because life is a little weird when you've been cast out of Heaven to learn a lesson from someone, and now you're not even in the vicinity of that person any more. Michael isn't afraid that he won't get back to Heaven. He's never been afraid of that. And he can only assume that God sent him here away from Simon and Matrena because He had a reason for it (nothing happens without God having a reason for it, although that's one of the lessons he'll learn, and he only knows it in theory right now), but it's definitely a little confusing and even more disorienting. He's not used to the World, and he's not very self-sufficient*
*But anyway, he's in his room making shoes, and if anybody wants to come in and say hi, or annoy him, or experience his infuriating gentleness, they're welcome!*
